A heavy 84 solid silver persian islamic box with iranian engraving of mythical ibex and exotic birds with a background resemblign a persian carpet with the same engravings on the side of the box. On the back of the ild there are four persian hallmarks. One of the iran hallmarks that i found when i researched was the 84 standard mark. The condition is very good. On the front of the box there si extremely very small minor pin size dent on the bird on the right-hand side. There are age scratches in the niterior and on the back of the box. There are on large dents, no cracks and no holes. the hinges are in excellent condition. The approx size of teh box is 6 1/4 length, 3 1/4 width, and 1 height.
